im using a VIA sata card and uninstalled the drivers and have the drive halfway closed, tried and tried and cant get the drive in vendor mode. any ideas people....

Ok with the drive selected :
goto mtk tab
click on the sammy unlock
drive should go into vendor mode, if not, try the device intro id
BTW have your firmware ready in the firmware 32 tabsigpic
