Maximus Claims PHAT LITEONS NO CUTS

We also are proud to announce a major break-through, The NO-CUT/NO-SOLDER solution for (phat) lite-ons is here and built into the 360lizard device. This is the real deal, NO CUTS, NO SOLDER, NO GLUE-SCAM, this is a complete and tested solution, we will be posting full details really soon. (you know the copycat and mouse game) is why we will not give details until resellers have stock.

I wonder if it will be compatiable with teh x360 USB pro, as I would prefer that piece of kit, but would love a solution to not being able to do v9 liteons.

I am expecting Team X to counter this with thier own version.

I think there has been a method to get the key off the drives that has not been made public.

But we will see, this could be a major selling feature as you wont have to take a soldering iron with you to do the MRA.

Another thing as a selling point would be the 9504 and 0225 drives unlock and write (done), although the 0225 is hardware locked. I am expecting firmware though soon as this could be a selling point again for the xusb

Well the 9504 is read and write enabled, and done. 0225 is read enabled, and I seen screenies off it being done. But what do you mean its hardware locked mate?

Here is the item in question. Over at the xecuter boards, there is word that the usbpro will ship with some add-on that will do the same job.

"Scorpion Add-On Lite-On No Cut Or Solder

The third and possibly the most exciting add-on product for the Maximus Lizard is the new Scorpion add-on, note that all our Maximus Lizard will ship with the Scorpion add-on included as part of the kit. The Scorpion is a board that will allow users to extract the keys from Lite-on 83 v2 & 93 drives without cutting any tracks or having to solder to rebuild the cut tracks. That's right you have not read it wrong, the new Maximus Scorpion add-on for the Lizard means you will now no longer have to cut tracks or solder on the 83 v2 or 93 drives. Maximus was the first to achieve this and at the time of writing this no other product on the market can offers this feature, this truly makes the Maximus Lizard the best and easiest to use flashing tool on the market."

May seem a silly question but I'm a noob so forgive me

When these ate released, rather then paying someone to flash my box, because I'm scared if breaking it, I can use this as it makes it easier?

Yes mate, although I would advise against getting the lizard or scorpion. I have heard from my TJ source, that they have run into massive problems with the devices. More news to follow

And they released the Lizard with NO INSTRUCTIONS what so ever
And at 100$ a throw its shocking to think that people bought this and it was not ready to use out the box

I hear now, the next batch will come with the scorpian (no cuts/solder) rather than the mini Spear?

Am still curious on to how this works but guess we'll be waiting on manuals posting
