Everytime i turn the xbox on with kinect plugged in it lasts for about 10 mins then makes a high pitched sound and the screen freezes, it is the cream coloured xbox 360 im using with 2 memory cards, but i have enough space coz i had to delete the memory cards in order to update my xbox to play kinect, ive afeeling its my xbox thats goosed, anyone of you expert guys got any idea, i welcome anything you have to say. THANKS PEOPLE.

Weird.
The older 360's use an external PSU to power the kinect so it's not as if the extra load is tripping anything in the power line.
What happens when you run it without anything else connected?
Is your box on Live and do you have the latest System Update/Game Updates? -
when there is no kinect plugged in it can sometimes last a bit longer but ends up doing the same, think i may need a new xbox, yes have the latest updates.Comment
