what hardwear i need to buy flash my xbox360

hello i need to flash my xbox360 before i payed a guy to do it for me but hes gone now and I'm on my own. i know he did some soldering and he flashed it with something :/ i think i need to flash it with the newest soft wear out there but here is the deal i have no clue what i need to flash it i dint wonna open it and be stuck somewhere i know i need a sata cable but what else and i need to get it in USA since I'm from Chicago i need fast shipping cuz china takes like a month i dont wonna w8 a month.
Please help!! plz give me some links or pm me ... by the way im a noob when it comes to flashing. Does ebay sale that stuff?? and are there any tutorials on soldering cuz i wonna see what he did inside my xbox... oh and im not doing this for $$$ im doing this for me so dont worry i will no be taking ur money I just need help

Will all depend on the drive inside the XBOX. Liteon drives require probes. A CK3 kit (pro or lite) makes powering the drive easier, only essentail if probes are required (I recomend one tho) Also a compatable sata chipset or the X360 (the USB-sata) from Team X

are any of them available in US ? how long does the shipping take from UK ? o and on youtube some guy was using a scorpion 2 ? and a lizard tool ? ... any ways i need to know what the hell did he soldier inside the xbox do u have any idea what could he do there ? are there any pic ok DK i can look at ? and if he did soldier something maybe i dont need to buy a probe now?

First i need to take my xbox apart but i hoped i buy every thing first before i do that ... i guess i have to open it first I'll do it tomorrow and i let u guys know which drive i have .. thx for help

Find out what drive revision you have before going any further. From what you say, it sounds like a Liteon drive, but we still need to know the hardware revision.

You could save a fortune by not buying useless crap that you don't need.

The very first thing you need to know is what drive you have thats manufacturer and revision

For example

Liteon 8350 MFR date 26/2/2011

Guy's i got with tuch with my guy he said that maybe he has my bin in his pc ... so maybe hes gonna email me the atachment and then i dont have to extract the key ... i hope he can find it ... he said that for my drive he had to soldier there was no way around it ...
He told me my flash now is lt+ v1.0 i think and newest is v2.0 ?
and that i need to download dos flash sofwear cuz with jungle flash hes pc was acting crazy ..?.. so now im w8 for the email for him but i will still take my xbox apart tomorrow after work just to let u guys know the model of my drive ... and thx guys for helping me out

If it's lt+ then you don't need to update yet. If it's been soldered it's fair to assume it's a liteon 8/9 series. You will need the pogo mo thoin probe to extract the key again.

Ignore the advice about dosflash, jungleflasher is the best flashing software around, it's probably his pc that was wonky and not jf.
