xbox freeses when signing into xbox live, help?

hello, my sisters xbox keeps crashing when she trys signing into xbox live. can anyone tell me whats up with it please?

i have formatted the hard drive and its still the same.

Sound like a HD issue. Try recover the gamertag on your console and see if it signs in that way.
