It is possible yes. When flashing drives, always ensure you save your firmware dump be it orig.bin or dummy.bin. Keep these safe incase of PC crashes during the write process.

All drives except hitchi's are easily recovered either through DOS or Jungleflasher

2 ways to screw your xbox.

1. Put the power into the drive the wrong way around.
2. Erase the drive without the key/orig.bin

Both will ~~~~ your xbox without a problem. And it dont matter how much you recover it in dos.
