which laptop to buy

How important is battary life and portability ?

17" or 15" ?

Do you need higher spec graphics or bluray drive ?

Personal bought an 17" median from Aldi a year, good spec and comes with 3 year warranty. Apart from usual bloatware on their load been great laptop.

battery life not too important cos i tend to keep it plugged in .....had a 17 '' and liked it for watchin movies but tbh thought it slightly too big/ heavy

I've got both a 17" that I bought myself and a 15.4" from work and I do like the 17" around the house but not to take out of the road. The extra screen space plus much roomier keyboard layout are nice. However its an extra 2kg in weight (9 cell battery instead of 6) and battery life is not as good as the 15.4".
