    ssd drive partitioned

    Hi

A mate asked to re install windows on his eeepc.. find out he has a 16gb ssd drive partitioned on two..Now,wanted to make them two partitions into one. I've tried partition magic 8 and easus partition manager to no avail.. can't make'em one. Is there something I am missing?

I use Acronis Disk Director on my SSD. Works a treat. I have split into 4 partitions, running XP Pro, Win 7 and Ubuntu and having another partition for data. I have also joined them back together into one partition and run Win XP from it

Make sure that you run it from CD though

Did you try booting from the windows disk and deleting both partition and then just creating one partition to install windows on.
