I was looking into windows xp for info from microsofts website and was prompted that I might be able to upgrade to 7 so maybe if you look at their site you might be able to do the same with your vista. Just a thought.Comment

A wouldn't be in a massive hurry to jump to 7 mate unless you have a major problem with your Vista install!
If its on service pack 2 then there isnt a helluva big performance gain by going to 7 unless its a laptop or netbook.
When Windows brought out SP2 there were millions of lines of code re written and the initial problems that Vista had were mostly cured but by then it was too late,people just saw Vista as a total dog.
Recent bench tests suggest Vista sp2 is just as quick as 7, they are very similar and 7 is really just Vista without the warts.
Anyway if you are gonna go for a torrent download be sure to read what people have reviewed, look for words like untouched or clean.

There are two ways you can get drivers!
You can let Windows find them by going into start/control panel/hardware and sound/devices and printers/right click on the pc icon and select device installation settings/then select "install driver software from windows if not found on my computer.
You can also just go to Dell directly and source the drivers .

Remember that Vista drivers will work on Windows 7 aswell.
Another option would be to try this little freeware program called "device doctor".
