Hi guys, had a look but can't find the definitive answer for a technophobe like me. Is it possible to download a video from u-tube and then transfer the audio part only onto an ipod ? If so can anyone hold my hand metaphorically and talk me thro step by step. Fed up with programmes like limewire and you tube seems to have every song I ever search for....Dassey

Cheers sadiq. Tried it but took ages trying to download so I gave up. Ended up using one called Zillatube which worked a treat although I think there is a limit before you may have to pay. But thanks for the advice pal. dassey

I use youtube downloader to grab the video. Fast, never fails (watch it fail for someone now) and very very free. After you download, use same program to convert the file to .MOV, .MP4, .3GP, .WMV and .MP3

converttube does take a while but its the best and most simple, only cache is you can download once every 15 mins or you have to change your ip and clear the browser cache.
