    Making a Back Up

99% of you will know the following- but for the 1% who may be about to back up their files for whatever reason should move all of their music/movies/photos etc. to a sizeable usb stick before hand to speed up the back up process.

I keep all my files on a different partition and just open the drive at start up and its just like opening a folder on the desktop.. the best setup to have imho

That way nothing is on the system partition and if anything ~~~~s up you can just reinstall over the system partition and the partition with all you files is safe and ready to use after install.. no more transfering.

is there a 400gb stick available. all mine run via different drive. But hear what ur saying, but the 1% that we talking about, dont know what backup is( they prob expect a team at door to lend a hand).

          Learned from experience.

no, what it means, ....geta 1TB usb H drive, copy all your stuff to it, like movies music, docs and such and then use it as your primary source to keep your files.
Leave the C drive ONLY for your OS

In a nut shell smokin. I should have made the post clearer as I learned the hard way when making a back up to my system took so long with all my music and pics. Thanks smokin.
