Hi i want to link my pc with my tv to watch downloads and live streeming anyone got any advice on what cables i should get i need about 5 meters and also any really good live streeming web sites? thanks

ive just looked and one says tv out its a bit like a mouse connector not usb if you know what i mean .

on my tv i have HDMI s-video and pc in which is like the monitor cable (blue) if any of this helps

Ah like old PS2 mice, a circular port.
Thats S-Video out.

Id go for VGA to VGA over S-Video purely for quality terms.
You'll also need some kind of audio cable, 3.5mm jack to 2x RCA phono (f your TV has phono connections) if not itll be a straight 3.5 to 3.5 jack cable.

So yeah get a VGA cable (male both ends) if your computer has a spare VGA port.

If not get an S-Video cable.

And get the appropriate audio cable that matches your tv's inputs and computers outputs.

5m is pretty long for a VGA cable, you will need one with some decent screening.

Alternative is to spend ?30 on getting a new video card with HDMI output and HD acceleration. This would give the advantage of being able to playback HD as well.

Then you can get a 5m HDMI lead for less then a fiver.

As for streaming sites, depends what you want to watch.
