    hi,
I am after a program which will take the music of a copy protected CD and make these MP3's. Is there such a program?

once you have converted them to mp3 they need to be burnt as an audio cd then they will play on anything, an average cd holds between 17 ish and 24 ish music tracks depending on how long each track is, you can burn audio discs with windows media player, just upload them from hard drive to wimdows media player and click burn. just about all cd players will also play wma ( windows media audio ) as well.

reguarding the cd with 100 tracks on it, that disc must have been burnt as a data cd which will only play on a computer

try free rip, it will rip copy protected cds and convert the output to mp3 files.

Hi Mate. If you're not pushed for time I find it better to convert the mp3's separately and the burn them in media player as a poster above recommended (just drag the converted tunes to the burn list).

I don't know how Nero handles Itunes conversion, but I use Ojosoft audio coverter. this will convert your mp3's to or from apple AAC format (ipod/iphone) as well as most others. Takes about 30 seconds to convert each song.

                  hope this helps
