convertx2dvd problems

    convertx2dvd problems

    i am using the program above to burn dvds on my laptop it is showing as burn complted succesfully but they wont work in a dvd player .but when i used to use it on my pc they played fine do you need to set up a different config or somthing on a laptop?????

    are you sure your dvd player can read that disk type? I have no trouble with that software on my laptop.. makes a perfect dvd every time...

      Burn the video_ts folder only.

        I had the same problem and changed to this one, haven't looked back since

          when i used to use my pc to burn them it worked ereytime on any dvd player. now i have installed the same software it says the dvd has burned fine but then it will not work in any dvd player

            do they not work on any dvd players or one specific player?

            is it a (cough) copy of convertxdvd, if so , you might want to uninstal and buy another one....

            or could be a dodgy burner in yer laptop

              I never use the inbuilt burner on ConvertX. The files are written to the hard drive instead of straight to disk.

              That way I can check they work before wasting a DVD.

                Like canker, I never use the inbuilt one either.

                I extract the iso thats created and burn the video_ts with nero and always works great.
