any idea how to get rid of store demo software from a laptop basically it is still in the store demo setup
cant even get control panel etc

trying to get the laptop to run normally as the store set itself up as administrator and locked out many functions

hi m8, have a try on Windows Installer Cleanup utility on google...that might help.
I am also facing this problem, i bought a new laptop last mont, and there are some demo software in it, which i dont find useful for me, and they are just occupying the space in my hdd, i tried to uninstall it through the add and remove programs from the control panel, but it doesn't helped. I think i should go for re installation of the OS.
If you want to permanently fix, formatting and reinstalling the operating system (I had the same problem with a company laptop that had XP, I took the opportunity to put windows 7)
