    norton just ran out, am looking for a product key or download. any suggestions, cheers

        I use Microsoft Security Essentials on all of my home pcs, its free and its work fine.

          me as well.... I use Microsoft Security Essentials...great if you have a real version of Windows, but works also with cracks

                Ive used Kaspersky for years. It has an excellent detection record. Kaspersky and NOD32 are generally considered the best.

                  We've got Microsoft Security Essentials on all our machines. It's free and we can't fault it so far!

                    Get rid of Norton, it's pants. I use Avast, had no problems, and it's free.

                              I agree, MSE is a great product for home PC use. I have been using it for over a year now and it's been great, highly recommended. Of course, you need a valid copy of Windows to download it, but it is free.
