I got win 7 64 running with 12 gig ram my system is using 5418 at this time
I got 12 because i don't like rebooting my computer every time i use it but if you don't leave your system running at all times like i do then 2 will do for some visual,email and web browsingComment

that's because win7 will use any 'spare' memory for caching. I've got win7 running just fine on 1gb netbooks. Of course more memory can speed it up but 2 will be no problem.
I don't know why you are taking nonsense about needing to reboot all the time. Not true in the slightest unless you are running memory intensive applications.Comment
