    Graphics card problem

I have seen three graphics cards which are awesome, but I don't know which one to get. Which is the best one for running new games, and games releasing in the future? I mean steam games like crysis 2 for example.

Which one is best for new and upcoming games?

your gonna need to change your power supply to at least a 600 watt and up ur ram to 4GB
to run hight end video card
takes 2 12v power lines off the power supply off separate rails (important)

          Nvidia all the way

None of them cards will give a good enough framerate in a Game like Crysis 2 or any new or future game mate. You will be disapointed if you purchase any of them cards and try and play a game.

You will need to spend at least 100 or so to get a decent framerate. the trick to determining how good a card is to identify, is to look closely at the number, its first number(the series number) is obvious.. but the important one is the second number because this tells you if its High, medium or low end of that particular series. And then the third number is usually just different clockspeeds the core/memory and shaders have, for example the 5870 and 5850 are both pretty similar apart from the latter having slightly lower clockspeeds.

So as you can see from your list the 9600GT is too old anyway to run anything new at good playable speed,, but them 5 and 6 radeon series cards you mention have a "4" after the first number meaning they are pretty low end cards, and more of a media centre card. You will need atleast a 5700 or 6800 model from them series to get a good smooth speed in games.

Some may argue you can play in a very low resolution and at medium low settings, but that is a bit pointless considering the amount of detail you lose out on.. may aswell get a 360 or ps3

I'd recommend either a Radeon 5770 or a nvidia GTS 450. they will both atleast play new games and support DX11 which is what all new games are being biuilt on.. but dont expect super high frames from these cards as they are mid to high range.... I'd personally wait for the GTX 560Ti to drop in price and get one of them for better future proofing.

And as Cod3 mentioned above, 300watt is not enough for todays good cards, you will need 500watt+... also remember, you can crossfire/sli 2 cheaper cards for good performance.. again you need a pretty good PSU for this.

By the way, I just seen in your other thread your cpu speed(1.8ghz).. that is too low mate to run anything.. even the highest end card would be no good... huge bottleneck!!... you're gonna need about 3ghz for most of todays games and to help the system run in sync with a good GPU card.
