windows live mail

hi all a bit of help please i've downloaded windows live mail windows 7 only the mail clicked for the mail didnt want the messenger etc. i used firefox to download all goes ok when i try to open the mail the hour glass is turning & turning on top of the msg saying window live starting thats it nothing else happens!!!!

try uninstalling and then reinstall

have done twice!! still the same windows live mail 2011 (hour glass turning) starting!!! msg

maybe worth downloading program again in case it was a bad download
also download from the Microsoft website

have done it now opens but takes an age still to open!!! and then freezing!!
