    win-xp v win 7

    hi guys just installed windows 7 on pc and was looking to see what are the pros & cons of xp and win 7 ???

    My first good impressions were
    Drivers. Done in an instant, my old printer was up and running in seconds, whereas I never got it working under Vista.
    Networking. Between two win 7 machines again was done securely and with no hassle. I was provided a network key and it worked..
    Snap to the top, and snap to the sides with different windows.
    Just left click the top of the window and pull it to the side of the monitor, and release, hey presto, half a page of window, do another to the other side, makes dragging and dropping a breeze.
    transparencies is quite good, hover over an open tab at the bottom, or the desktop button (on the far right btw)
    These things in themselves are trivial, but when you get used to it save time and xant likes this.

        w7 very good but I can not run winols 1500, otherwise perfectly and fast!

          I THINK, with ultimate, or Pro version, you can run in XP mode stuff that will only run on XP.

            XP every time for me ive had vista and 7 but used to get loads of compatibility issues with older software..............
            I know you believe you understand what you think i said
