    which one should i buy

    evenin chaps.
just give your opinion of which one, or even post a link with the one you think and why. these machines are at the top of my budget, so please bare in mind........

    eMachine ER1401 Desktop - Desktops | Ebuyer.com

    Acer Aspire M3900 Desktop - Desktops | Ebuyer.com

    eMachine ER1401 Desktop - Desktops | Ebuyer.com

if i buy one of the first 2 machines my dreambox will have to wait 2 weeks, but i think there is more longevity in these. the third one ticks all the boxes space wise though.

all 3 need to go on wireless keyboared and mouse.

    mick.

as you know, i would buy the emachine, simple reason is this, you can buy the emachine add another 2gb of ram to match the 4gb in the aspire, and get an external 1tb hdd to beat the storage amount of the aspire , add an external dvd-rw drive and still have the cost lower than the aspires original price plus wifis built in.
for what you said you will use it for, the emachine ticks all the boxes

                cheers dude, impressive spec.

trouble is our maude bought a pc from Aria a few years back and it was shite. unreliable, slow after 3 months use, and noisy as ~~~~, and terrible after sales.

i thought of Aria, then dismissed them.

                input appreciated though dude.

                mick.

This might be of use to you

Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 700 v2 Keyboard and Mouse - ?15.99 delivered

Can get cheaper, but Microsoft usually make good keyboards/mouse

I've bought graphics cards almost twice the price of this PC.

Infact, my first ever DVD-ROM was more expensive.
