Re visiting old thread of mine

Freemake is better than Handbrake for my usage


I have many films that are 10gb size for watching on TV via Acer Revo. However for PS Vita, Playbook etc I want those large files reduced to a native size of any particular product I care to choose. Freemake does it really well, and is easy to create custom conversions for each of your products. I know it is possible to create one small file to be used on Playbook & Vita or whatever, but the conversion is so simple and quick i now have 1 film in as many different guises as required and use the large mkv file as the master.

Give it a try. It's free ans IMHO better than the highly recommended Handbrake.
