hi, i need help i am running windows xp when i go to my picture's and click open, a file opens in notepad, how do i change this so the pictur's open thanks grapam

right click on the photo and from the context menu that opens select Open With and you will get a list to choose from
select the program you want or select Choose Default Program and from this list you can select the program of your choice and if you tick the Always use this box then it will always use this one
