i downloaded some files with winrar but cant open them its asking for password for the encrypted file any help would be much appreciated thanks

got them from some dodgy forum or torrent site then? download a different version mate

mate told me this site so went along signed up downloaded said file hence enter password for the encrypted file

You should thank the uploader and ask them politely for the password.

Sometimes the password is in the title of the download.
I.E if the title is download, it could be down or load. It may work. Hope this helps.

normally where the link is, where you get the download file from gives you the password

what model of garmin sat nav u got? and have u tried other torrent sites? eg..pirate bay demonoid etc, personally i keep well away from passworded zip files to many pitfalls as you seem to be finding.

did you get the link to rapidshare from a forum?? if so the password will be in the thread where you got link from. google navitotal which is good for maps

try to download another one with the same what you want but see it clearly if give password or not...

garmin now sorted with north american maps got the files from fileshare thank to everyone who helped cheers
