    malwarebytes, antimalware........

    ..........keeps flashing up.

    malwarebytes has detected a Torrent i have downloaded keeps trying to access my PC. it shows the address of the offender and a port number, what can/should i do?

    the process is utorrent.ex.

    is this the download programme?

      have u tried to uninstall utorrent ? or didnt u download it

        U torrent is your client programme.
        It?s the thing that allows you to download torrents.

          cheers guys, no not tried to unistallutorrent yet. thought i would ask on here first. i know utorrent is the client, but why is Malwarebytes flagging it up every 20 secs as malicious?

              i dunno why its flagging it up,
              but proberly you have it running and people are trying to leech from you.
              for some reason malware is detecting this as unauthorised access.

              it might be flagging the ip of one of the leechers as malicious, can you post a screenshot of the warning?

                    i think its blocking leechers who are trying to download from you.

                    it must see them as a threat

                          I would delete utorrent and reinstall it again. Should stop the problem.

                            its proberly uthing, just do what smirnoff said and disable the warning balloons.
                            if its only one ip, just let malware block it
