    another download question/problem

hey guys, i downloaded something yesterday fro a popular dl site. scanned it etc all fine. opened it, Mcaffee flagged up a trojan and removed it. download now wont work as files are missing, plus the trojan problem. deletyed it, went back to the site and read on the dl that others had noted the trojan, one guy answered these allegations saying that some anti virus can flag keygens as malicious, and to carry on all is fine.

    so, is it true?
and how do i dl, switch off mcaffee?

    mick.

I find avg very heavy on the system and not great. I was an avg user up until about 9 months ago but have now changed to microsoft essentials and malwarebytes and have not had any problems, old pc is a bit snappier as well and both are free with no crack required

I use Microsoft Security essentials, when I connect my usb drive with Magicjellybean on it the antivirus screen pops up. but it does'nt delete the file you have to tell it to delete it if thats what you want.
you can check the antivirus settings for what action it should take when a virus alert comes up.

                  Dear friend,
I've been using Avast 6.0 for a while. I like it alot with the shields to the max.
I also have malwarebyets, it works very well with Avast and without a conflict.
You can also use Sandbox where you can open the virus in it and test it without spreading to your pc. But even Avast comes with Sandbox anyway.
Download the free trial of Avast and then register using one of these keys. It expires 2038, enough time to try it out, hehe...

Use these for Malwarebytes which is considered one of the top Antimalware systems for an infected pc.
Helped me alot, thats for sure.
