'nzbs are safer' this little statement always makes me laugh..
ANYTHING d/loaded from the web can be hazardous to your pc's health, be it torrent, legitimate, or the mighty nzbs.

I didnt actually say that shady i did say at this time, nzbs have a distinct advantage over torrents as your your not sharing back which is the illegal bit they all get het up about warner bros mgm etc.
No downloading is ever safe, there are ways to be completely invisible but it carries a penalty of reduced speed which makes the downloading a real pain.
The sensible most usable option for me is nzb with ssl so the service provider can see a "bump" in the pipe of what you have taken but they cant tell what it is.
Prob second best solution is Private torrents like revolutionTT where you are masked away from the public swarm and the people who are logging your IP's.

Peerblock or Peerguardian help but they also restrict the available swarm as well due to the ip lists you load

ah well chim, you did actually say, nzbs are safer. mostly when people talk about the safety issues of nzb and torents, they seem to be under the impression that torrents are riddled with viruses and nzbs are not.. now you have made your statement clearer, i agree with you,
