How to make 2 ISO discs from 1 big data file?

Hi to everybody, maybe that stupid/funny question but can somebody tell me how to do it: I have one large data file over 12GB and I want to burn it into DVD DL and DVD disc- how to do it, how to split this file into two discs. Or how from that large 12GB file make 2 ISO discs? I know that I can make it with WinRar or WinZip, but I don't want anythig comprese and decomprese after recording. Many times I've seen like people uploading large files splited to few ISO discs, very easy to download/burn and install.

I think I know what you want to do, this is mainly done through the DVD? writing software.

I don't know which you are using or if it supports it, you could also google 'DVD Spanning'

There is also a nice piece of software called DVDspan. it is freeware and will take several files and calulate how to place them on several dvds. I used it for a customers 20GB backup and it split all the files across 5 DVDs. You may see if it will do it for large files.
