    Homepage Hi-jack

    Has anyone else come across this before i downloaded a copy of winrar from cnet which i incidently did not even need installed then was attack by some sort of spyware/malware which hi-jacked my homepage i have now got rid of it but was a pain in the arse for a good while!!

    It turned my homepage into a fake microsoft screen trying to sell me some shady spyware fix!!

    Think the virus was called valhalhehehe or something

    Maybe you should think about changing antivirus software if it didn't pick it up when the files were saved to your PC.

      Its the 'Anti-virus 2009' virus a right pain to get rid of from your pc.
