Not all people use their Laptop or PC the same as each other
so if you are happy with what you have got then Well Done.

If in a couple of months you think you could have got a better one then thats known as Life's little faults.

        Be Happy and enjoy.

general build quality, and the constant niggling little intermittant faults that show.

poor sound, dont like the keyboard, all these things only showed after a few weeks use.

              mick.

You could have bought a 2nd hand machine on eBay that would browse the Internet (and DK) for around ?60.

having had an acer aspire one that lasted exactly 1 year and 2 days. yes 2 days out of warranty it fried itself.
and an acer fullsize lappy a couple of years ago that lost its sound, wifi and eventually screen went after about 18 months.
I wouldn't touch another acer ever
                        aftersales service is a joke
                        build quality is a joke

my advice would be get your money back and buy something else

We have 2 desktops (home built) 1 netbook and 4 laptops in the house at present ... 1 of the lappys is a Aspire 5920G , its about 5yrs old and has stood the test of time

All the keys are still there and after the upgrade to windows 7 is still running pretty well. 1 area that it does stand out in is the the onboard sound and speakers which are better than most lappys i have come across. On the other side the screen was only average and never showed the colours as well as it should have done.

But it was in daily use until a few weeks ago and is about to be turned into a htpc as it does have a hdmi connection and bluray player. Although i had to have the blueray player changed twice as the 'Mcshita' that came with it never worked from the off ... so lived up to its name
