    wireless router problem

i set up a wireless router in my old house which worked fine.

i have since moved house and dont need the wireless router anymore so i gave the wireless router to my mam and dad.

i connnected the wireless router to the modem and searched for a wireless connection via there laptop. the laptop picked up the wireless router no problem, however i cannot access the internet.

    any advice anyone?

Is it cable/virgin, have you rebooted both routers, also ya may have to reset the wireless one by pressing button on back and holding it in for a while, then reset password for wireless
If it isn't broke, don't try fixin it..!!!

          Hey,

Make sure that your parents setup is same .. Maybe your router was setup for DSL ( PPOE ) and they are using cable so no ( PPOE ).

Make sure that you are using DHCP.
