Nvidia 3D vision PC question?

I just got my 3D asus monitor all set up, and the drivers and glasses and such all prepared.

I've checked out all the little 3D preview pictures it came with, and they're pretty cool, but my question is how I get games to run in 3D. I haven't tried yet, as my game is still downloading, but I want to know ahead of time. Will fullscreen games automatically convert to 3D or do I need to enable specific settings?

I would expect a popup asking you if you want it in 2D or 3D when you start the game. It should already know you have a 3D compatible card & monitor.
