you will need one of these ,[ame="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Premium-HDMI-Cable-Gold-Metre/dp/B000GDI6FC/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top"]Premium HDMI to DVI Cable Gold 2 Metre: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories[/ame]

Please note that u will also need a audio lead as a audio signal is not available through vga.

you might have to wait and see what other people have to say as the info I have given might not work , Sorry

Your Laptops VGA output is an analog video signal, HDMI is digital video.. You'll need a VGA lead going into a "VGA to HDMI" convertor adapter that then feeds converted HDMI output to your TV...

Alternatively, if your Laptop is powerful enough, you might be able to use a "USB to HDMI" cable..

        You need converter....
Unfortunately straight cable from VGA to HDMI will not work..

        This would work

VGA or Component Video (YPbPr) signal to standard HDMI Converter PC to TV 5RCA | eBay

But shop around and you can find something similar for dirt cheap.
