internet issues

hi my internet keeps on changing from 100mps to 1gb so i have to shut computer down and restart it does any one have any ideas what could be causing this

hardwired or wireless?have you tried powering off modem router and pc for a few minutes then on sometimes clears faults.

Sounds like you might need to speak to the isp

mine drops its wireless from 270 to 1mbs, all others on net still connect fine, i just disable wireless on comp then re- enable it and it works fine again

tried all that still same this is on computer upstairs on laptop wireless it is ok also it says internet disconnected but comes back on straight away

What is your PC actually connected to?
Is there a make or model on that 'box'?
Which operating system is on the PC?
Presuming you didn't build this machine yourself, what make and model is the PC?
Can you check your IP configuration on the computer for the network adapter after it re-negotiates to 1gbps and paste in here?
