    dvd prob

    i have just downloaded 2 part dvd and each dvd is 6.30 gig and a dvd can only hold 4.30gig anyone know a way round this cheers

          as shady says most dvds in relatively new computers are dual layer. you can also upgrade via legit or hacked firmware on many older dvds to make them dual layer.

            this dvd prob ive got is not a film its a prog to burn to dvd disc then install on my comp can i still use these methods thanks

                  Gordy that must be the biggest prog i have ever seen. Windows isnt even that size.

                  Anyway if you have downloaded it and its on the pc you want to install it dont waste your time burning to dvd. Just mount it on a virtual dvd rom - simple stuff.

                  Heres a guide (there are loads of virtual drive progs about) you dont have to use clone.

                    just double click on the file and your butning programme should open up.
                    what programme is 12.6 gb btw?

                          dvd shrink 3.2 might help you if not its brill for copying dvds any way

                            ive got this working now it is a prog called tecdoc i had to mount using a clone prog thanks for all yer help

                              Agree with that gmb45 DVD shrink would of shrunk this down to a more viable file size for a DVD.
