USB Conection on Extrenal hard drive come off

My usb conection on my extrenal hard drive has broken off the four solded points which keep them conected has broken off, When i take the casing apart and hold it back on with my fingers and put the usb lead back in i can get it to work, so all it needs doing is soldering back on!! my friend has just taken it to a computer shop and the guy said it would cost ?20 to solder it back on!! but it would be a fire hazard and most computer shops won't do it!! or he could put it in a new case!! I have a toshiba hard drive which is very nice and the case he said he would put it in is quite shity, could i just get some advice what is best for me to do? Is ?20 a lot of money for the job? is there somewhere i could take it to get it sorted? the hard driver is only a month old, but it has stuff on ie films which i have downloaded on line so would my warranity be void? Thanks All

Buy yourself a new case and put drive in that, even if you think its a crap case it'll probably perform just the same..

Or buy yourself a soldering kit and try fixing yourself..
