I use Giganews, and yes they are expensive, but they are certainly the best retention and they chuck in a vpn with the account. Pays a little bit more, but as I often decide to start watching tv series' that are a few years old, they are good to catch up with.

Not sure if any you suffer with DMCA takedowns in the same way that Giganews does, i.e they remove part of the blocks so they become irrepairable if downloaded, but a way around this is to use a back up server that does not comply with DMCA takedowns and a newsreader that allows a backup server to only download the missing parts. I use one and it cost me ?3 for 10 gig about a year ago, and I have only used 3gig of my lifetime allowance!

I'm thinking a non expiring block account has got to be the way for me seeing as I have my 30 day retention from vermin for free for new stuff and a one off payment of 7 quid to nzb matrix should be just about perfect

          THE TRUTH
          The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

I have had look but been using nzb matrix for about 18 months or so and just find the categories very easy to browse through, the problem with is they only give you access to 20 days with the free membership...On saying that I'm always open to suggestions so feel free to recommend some others an I'll have a look at them

Well like I said I use Giganews, they are the most expensive for a reason:

                  1) Highest retention of any news provider
                  2) 50 connections, so will always max out your connection
                  3) Port 443 support (but most do this now)
                  4) Diamond account members get access to 7 VPN locations worldwide (2 in America, so access to Hulu etc) in the package
                  5) Diamond members get 30gb online storage with Dump Truck in the package
                  6) Giganews has never gone down in my years of using them
                  7) Highest completion rate of all providers

Others may be cheaper, but they dont provide nearly as much!!

a good free one is binsearch.info, but you have to be really specific for what you look for. Retention is over a 1000 days too, and you also get a https connections to boot!

Well i would not reccomend paying for anything right now, they seem to be waging war on the big sites right now. At least if you use vermin and grabit you are not paying.

I think they have only gone for the ones who wont put up much of a fight or cant afford a lengthy law suit.

They may have a different fight if they go for either of the big two providers considering the financial might they have.

Now I've been givin something to think about. Using a link to newsdemon from nzbmatrix gives me the option of unlimited downloads with 50 ssl conections and 30gb online storage for a tad over a fiver a month just for being registered with nzbmatrix.
