    need a new psu

    hi guys need a new psu for pc , is there any thing i need to know befor buying one ??? or are they all the same ??? this is what iam looking at ALPINE 500W PSU SWITCHABLE POWER SUPPLY 24pin +4 pin, 1 x SATA, 2 x MOLEX | eBay

      Depends on how much your powering ect. Do you run powered GFX ect?

      Or is this a like for like replacement

          Quality and efficiency are more important than wattage. Go for a known brand name such as Antech or similar.

          A cheap PSU can cause lots of issues such as USB problems or even fried motherboards.
