iPad or alternative

Hi all,

Looking to get a tablet. must be at least 9.7in, 16GB. dont particularly like iTunes, Apple stuff but dont have a huge experieince with them.

Any suggestions, comments, recommendations ?

the alternative to an ipad is an android tablet, i have an asus transformer the 101 which is as good as the ipad and would recomend.
there is a new transformer with a quad core cpu which came onto the market earlier this year, there are plenty of tablets to choose from.

yeah - there's a shed load of options but I wouldn't know an Android from a hole in the ground. How user friendly are they ?

samsung galaxy tab will make a fine contender.

just took the easy way out and got an ipad 2. nice bit of kit so far. pity no flash for the kids websites.
