Java 7 windows 7 SOny Vaio

Hi, I have recently purchased a Sony Vaio vpceh but when ever a browser page tries to use Java it is unbelievably slow, I have deleted old versions, I have deleted all Java then reinstalled but still having the issue, I also checked the "manage extensions" sections and Java is allowed to any websites that require it, still have extremely slow Java, any advice? I am using Windows 7 - 32 and 64 bit which are interchangeable

Might be worth running up the java console and logging the results, then take a look through see if there is anything obvious. Also check the cache and heap size runtime settings.

Managed to sort this out by downloading both versions of Java for 32 and 64 bit, still a little slow but much better than before
