has anybody studied competia A+ , how long did it take you to do, and how many hours did you put into it weekly?

I have my A+, but I had a fairly good understanding of it before I wrote the exam. I would suggest to google for some A+ exams and study them as they are pretty much the same thing.
But, passing the exam and actually being able to do it are two different things. There is no point having your cert if you can't do the job.sigpic -
I did mine.. if i can remember rightly it was a 6month - 1year course and i had to do it during the evening as worked during the day. but well worth doing like. but again.. it not everything u learn on it, u use on a day to day basis..it covered various parts mainly hardware.. and just briefly touched the surface on networking. so if its networking your looking for then i would look at your options first before you take the course. I knew alot about hardware when i started the course and you do learn new things as you just cant know everything with computers because they change so quickly each day.
