There is a windows 8 pre release you could try, free beta download, apparently it's designed with touch interface compatibility, you would need to install it in a dual boot environment , either on a 2nd hdd or partition your existing c drive, sorry not got links but Google will put you on to it "free windows 8 download "

I'm still not really seeing the point of touchscreen yet really. Fingers aren't as accurate as a mouse pointer, pixel wise. That and you'd have to clean it if used after a night out with a few beers and a kebab on the way home.

Limited appeal and is a gimmick to sell new screens to everyone. Unless anyone can give some valid real life application where it can be used by a home user?

My main reason is so I can play pub quiz and fruit machines.

Would love a roulette machine to play on windows like the ones in betting shops.

Best ones i can find is via internet..(skyvegas.com)

Anyone know one that is as good an you dont need internet.

I would, if I could think of a use for one. Therein lies the problem for me, before I buy something I always ask myself "what use do I have for this?" and if I can't find a reason I don't buy it. That's the primary reason it took me almost 2 years to buy an Android tablet.

If anyone can come up with a good reason to buy one, and playing games isn't, then I might look at one. Until then I'll look on it as "it's a way for someone to sell me something I don't need".
