    pc to tv

    hi all
basically i have a 32" technika ( i know they're not great ) lcd tv and since i have had it i have always wondered how i could connect my pc to it. now i'm not totally dumb on this as i do it with my downstairs tv but this particular model has what appears to be a headphone style socket for a pc connection. i've googled my little ass off trying to find an answer with no joy so am hoping somebody here may know.

The headphone socket labelled PC is for the Audio input from the PC's Headphone/Speaker output..

Your TV might have VGA socket on it for connecting a VGA lead from your PC's VGA output, this will only carry the video signal, hence why you have to have a seperate lead for the audio..

Did you get a manual with your TV, it'll explain the connection methods in that...

all depends on what input u have on ur telly and what output u have on ur pc

      VGA , DVI or HDMI

look at this card and tell use which u have on ur pc and which u have on ur tv
      HDMI, VGA, DVI Icrontic

the headphone socket on ur tv is for headphones

you can get a graphics card for the pc with hd output or when i did yars ago, a cheap graphics card with s-video output, if you dont have s-video on the tele you can get a scart adaptor with them built on for peanuts
If it isn't broke, don't try fixin it..!!!

vga to hdmi need a signal conversion box to make it work but dvi to hdmi works without converting the signal
