help my computer has been exploited

Morning Guys last night i was browsing the internet and went on to a website called roms43.com

As soon as clicked on it i started to get popups so came of straight away.
I think the damage was already done.
My computer then had a box with dos showing and asking me for permission' I tried to cancel but it was no good.
Then my computer tells me that user access control is turned off i have tried to turn it on but it will not let me it also wont let me run windows in normal mode

its so slow the hdd light is continuously flickering but all my application are not running please help

Have you a spare computer or can you borrow one for ten minutes?

if so,switch off yours.

Download Kaspersky rescue cd and burn it.

You don't need a kaspersky licence to run it.

Also you are not running your infected pc.
This is a boot cd and runs independently of the operating system.
It downloads the latest definitions and will hopefully get rid of the virus for you.

I think bitdefender do one as well.

I always have a rescue disk burnt just in case.

Always handy to have a copy of hirens boot cd as well.
