im aware of the potential problems lying in store for those of us who buy from china, however, i have yet to experience any need for warranty returns with chinese bought goods as of yet. That includes from dhgate.

Your lucky i have had a nightmare with Dhgate in the past. One bit of advice is use your credit card via paypal.Dhgate is ran by china to export its goods that can not be sold on ebay as they are all copies and usually substandard.I was very close to losing my house and family through there faulty goods catching fire.I would not want to risk one of my children with a laptop that has no safety checks just to save a few quid.

The goods you buy from the shops that are made in china have gone through rigid EU safety checks before being allowed to be sold in this country. But sites like DHgate and Ioffer sell direct over the internet to avoid copy right laws and safety checks that's why they are a lot cheaper and some times very dangerous.
