Hi guys need some help again ,My panasonic toughbook wont burn a dvd for me . I downloaded express burn because i thought that my problem was no burn software.I can download my files to express burn ,then it writes to disk but after its done it says no disk loaded??? Before i download i have to go to e drive and pic the dvd i will use, i do this it accepts starts to write then nothing , no cd in drive..I have played with this for 8 hours and cant figure this out.also when im done it go to wizard ,insert disk i do that again and i cant click next ? i can load a cd or dvd and it will read that but it wont write anything. Please help im at a loss my other comp writes dvd with one click windows 7 vs my problem on xp thyanks again

See if there is a firmware update for your burner.sigpic -
Try Imgburn its free
Also gives you a drive log
tells you if it finds the DVD drive etc

I checked the drive manager it says its working. also checked for updates and it said nothing found. I thought it was me then i tried on my other computer and it burned the disc with no problems. I dont know is there a specific software i need to find in my comp.to make sure it is capable of burning ? There is a icon on the e drive that shows a burning disk ? thanks in advance 26sutphenComment

Have you checked for driver updates on the Panasonic site ?
Make sure all your details are correct and search ...

it could be it needs a firmware update not drivers as the drivers are normally included in the operating system, a firmware update will cover the various makes of disk you can purchase so you will need to find the make and model of your disk drive not the pc then do a search and update it.
also you could try differant burning software such as.....
