timetrex, so what are the official minimum system/network requirements for a 720p stream? -
Yes i pay for 70 meg at home and pull between 40-50 on a normal day if i use speedtest.net as soon as i open up overply and connect to egypt it drops to 1.3-1.8 meg thats shocking. But if i use the smart DNS service its ok and my megs stay at 40-50. This is what i have been doing recently and it has been fine a little pixelating for 1-2 mins then it settles and is ok.Leave a comment:

So if yuse vpn you get stuttering, if you use the smart dns function then you dont?Leave a comment:

If you get overplayvpn and use the smart DNS function you get this is the best way around the problems for the computer anyway. In my other post i have explained how to do this. Dont get me wrong i am no expert but i know what has worked for me and hope it works for someone else.Wish it was pal i am just offering my knowledge, ADMC can be streamed perfect in the UK as i have witnessed and people on here have stated, the problem seems to be the stuttering and pixelating what people get. All i have done is pass my info across and hope it can help peopleLeave a comment:

The stuttering is not down to graphic cards....I have watched the same streams with a low profile 4550...Not exactly top end graphic card but more than capable of delivering hd qulaity streams....Wrong mate, if you do more reading you will see many posts made by me, and i have performed many tests on different machines with ADMC using overplay etc. If you have a rubbish graphics card ... expect a rubbish picture.
I have had loads of PM's off people from different forums asking for help with their juddereing and stuttering picture when using ADMC for live football, it 90% of the time is due to poor graphics capabilities.
The suttering is more than likely a comnination of VPN and generally internet traffic..Depending on the route that it takes.
sure if you have a rubbish processor and on board grapichs then you may suffer problems but other than that I can tell you the streams are fine...Leave a comment:

I agree with what you say regarding the graphics card, i will also say that if you use a VPN your download drops shockingly.Wrong mate, if you do more reading you will see many posts made by me, and i have performed many tests on different machines with ADMC using overplay etc. If you have a rubbish graphics card ... expect a rubbish picture.

Hi all great thread, i am a little in the know about ADMC and Android, Apple and Dreambox. I have had a good look at this thread and some fair comments, here are my suggestions and have worked fine for me. How i run ADMC through an android is i have bought an Android media player called the g box midnight, these are the best on the market and are better than the appletv thats my opinion as i have always preffered android to apple. I bought mine of a UK seller on gboxmidnight.co.uk for ?120. Speedy delivery with XBMC already installed. The 1st thing i done was download aptoide into the box i done this by turning the box on and using the web browser, searched via google for aptoide and then installed it into the media player, this is like a jailbreak on its own. Then i opened aptoide and searched ADMC i then installed this app. I the registered with ADMC for ?24 for the season, they playback is great but i am still yet to watch a premiership game until the 29th. What i can tell you is 2 of my pals have them and the picture is great. They have a 20meg download speed which is not affected. There is no geo block and has an automatic login once registration is complete. The quality in movies is great and i have installed an app in XBMC called sportsdevil and have been streaming matches without any problem. If you subscribe using a VPN you will have problems and will need to have a DNS to make sure you have no problems with your download speed which is important. To put a DNS in your computer you first need to get one, click on the 2 computer screens in the bottom right corner, click network and sharing center, click view status half way down on the right and then click properties, allow entry, look for internet protocol 4 highlight and open your DNS address will be put in at the bottom of this page. This is the best ways to watch ADMC on the computer and a media player. I prefer the media player small, compact and can be used with the remote, hope my post has helped some of you guys out aptoide should be put on all androide devices you will never look back.Leave a comment:

Well i can tell you the streams are good, reading this thread some people saying you need a good graphic card.not really true....
I actually work for watch and trade, part of the perform group. We also provide streams for fox as well..
THe comms are proper commentary people....
I think my perference if people carrying on with this setup would be to lease a a cheap dedi server, use putty create a ssh and route all browser traffic through the tunnel....Leave a comment:

Who commentates on the streams (English)? Is it just unknowns, or does AD pay to use the proper commentator audio from people like Sky and the BBC (e.g. the audio you'd hear on Match of the Day)?Leave a comment:

That's very good for you, but does not help anyone on this thread. Who do you work for ? Sounds like a interesting job.Leave a comment:

Thankfully I don't need to bother with this, vpns and subs. I work for the company that provide the streams....no geo block for me
The streams themselves are fine and go as far as 720p ....with support for android and mobile device streaming....although there is latency compared to sky sports for example but still prety good if you switch off a result service....Leave a comment:
