Help Streaming ADMC Sports....

I have the same issue with my iPad app being Geoblocked over the weekend
I subscribed to a VPN (Hidemyass) and it got round it but nowhere near enough to get the matches streaming to a watchable standard
Does anyone know is a SmartDNS from someone like Overplay would work or would I have to look around at other VPNs

SmartDNS works fine for me on iPad and iPhone.

I was geoblocked at the weekend with the app on my android media player (have smartdns only on my router) got in touch with overplay & they told me I needed the vpn for admc site, still works ok on my laptop.

BUT my android tv box and phone wont work useing the app

Same thing happening to me now. To summarise what I believe to be the case:

PC / Laptop:

ADMC Streams from website work perfectly with SmartDNS from Overplay running in the background. Very high PQ full screen.

iPAD / iPhone

App allows - video highlights to play with or without SmartDNS present.

App allows live match centre streaming with middle east VPN but quality of VPN connection is not high enough to make it watchable.

App does not allow live match centre streaming even with SmartDNS from Overplay present.

iPad / iPhone can not access browser based match centre as requires flash to play video.

Conclusion: iPhone / iPad users are now locked out until such a time that SmartDNS starts working again (if at all). PC users remain unaffected by changes and continue to use SmartDNS until ADMC start logging IP addresses for geo restrictions - which in my opinion may only be a matter of time.

Android Box geo Blocked 2 Mate

I've an account myself with ADMC & use via the overplay medhod in my router - I too get stuttering, but my lappy is a pile of c**p in fairness.

My android phone gets geoblocked on my network though, I'm wondering if I was to purchase an Android box, would I get geoblocked like that on my phone??

My speed incoming is 100mb, Netflix USA, BBC & ITV players work streaming HD without issue with the dns change.

Decisions, Decisions..... Thoughts?

Is smartdns no longer working? It was for me at the weekend.

Xbmc options are limited without a pay account :

Live online footy ($$) : shutdown by UKgovernment
FFlash sport streams ($$) : closed
Star streams ($$) : not accepting new members
Sports devil (free) : uses p2p streams such as wiziwig (ok but far from hd)
Navi x (free) : can be good but hit and miss

Xbmc is a fantastic piece of software but without a decent plugin with a pay aaccount it is no match for admc in my opinion.

Yer I Think Dns Is Still Working Jus Devices Without Dns Are Geoblocked I Know Android Tv Has A Vpn Option Can Any 1 Recommend Dns Or Vpn For Android That Will Remove Geoblock But Still Stream Just As Good Cheers In Advance

Sorry m8, don't have atv. I'm really happy with the stream i get through the lappy tbh its as close to hd tv quality as youll get from a stream imo. Streams perfectly with no stuttering although im on around 40mb dl fibre. For a small outlay you have your pick of the 3pm's, thats all i use it for, as for the rest of the matches, a little skybox f3 works very nicely
