Why would an Abu Dhabi IPTV site be hosted in the UK? That's odd. Is this CDN also in the UK? So UK customers should get a better ping than middle eastern ones (the target group)!

I wonder why they can't use HTTP streams for the PC users...

An Android does not once aptoide is installed on the devise first and then you add ADMC strange i know but true you just log in and it will connect.

I don't believe that the browser on the 360 can handle Flash. Since the ADMC site requires Flash, it won't work. Sad but true. Flash is dead - ADMC should let it RIP.

Why is aptoide necessary? There is an Android ADMC app. on the normal Google Play store. If your Android device has access to this store why would you bother with aptoide (just for watching ADMC streams)? Presumably you're saying that your ?120 Android device can't actually access the proper Android store, which is a bit lame!

Also, reviews for the ADMC app. on the Google Play store are poor. Lots of users say that the live streams don't even start on their device and for some reason the quality is worse than the iPad app. The most annoying thing for me with this whole thing is that allegedly the best stream quality (and cheapest solution - no VPN/DNS trick needed) comes from an iPhone/iPad. That's great...IF you already happen to own a ?400 iPad/iPhone/Apple TV. People who don't like wasting money on CrApple products are left with substandard PC or Android streams.

It doesn't make sense that a PC requires a beefy GFX card, as the GFX capabilities of the iPhone are far from super-computer grade! I heard someone say that this is because the PC site uses Flash and the Apple app. uses HTML5. If this is the reason that's poor on behalf of ADMC. It wouldn't break the bank for them to provide an HTML5 site for PC users. In theory I'd think they could use most of the iPhone system already in place and just smack a small website front-end on. Who knows, though?

This is not really a response to you, but whatever the full path from the playing field to the user's PC via ADMC, the only relevant hop is from the ADMC server to the user's PC. Even if the video feed has been around the world 17 times, it wouldn't affect the quality or speed of the stream as far as the end user was concerned, as long as the link between the ADMC server and user is solid. Again, I know you know this, I'm just telling anyone else who cares to know.

[QUOTE=pee_bee;1849949]Ok Mate. I already view ADMC through my PC with no problems but have been looking for an Android tv addon which will also do it. I've just looked at the Gboxmidnight and I am impressed. So, in your experience - will this little box let me use a VPN and watch live ADMC??

I've gone from being suspicious to asking your advice. LOL

    Thanks

Yes if you download Aptoide into your androide device open that up and then open it up, in aptoide search ADMC and download it. You do not need a vpn or anything it will let you login and search watch videos and play live matches.

Also, for anyone who was planning to upgrade their internet speed to use ADMC, as far as I can see, an 8 meg connection would be more than enough. It's pointless upgrading to, say, fibre @ 50+ meg if all you want is a 720p stream.

However, someone please correct me if my reasoning is wrong.
I think you talk sense mate, i think the pixelation at the start is buffering and then it seems fine, i would also like to add that at the end of the day ADMC has to come from the UK would i be correct in saying it then get fired across the the middle east and then back again or would it come straight from the UK.

Like the previous poster has said in order to get bets possible straming quality, a dedi graphic card well help...

As I understand the way smart dns works is to give you your home pc speed while giving you access to those blocked sites. The only difference with this and the vpn is that it wont be encryptd and will work alot better.

Obviously if your using the VPN you wont be able to stream HD...My advise is to use smartdns or to rent a dedi server/vps and route your traffic through that...

Easy to setup, plus its secure and maintains your egyptian IP addy...Not sure if smartdns does this?

I think the point with having pixels is that if your using the VPN as well....Perhaps not as I haven't tested it but generally reading suggests use smartdns and your picture will improve. Not forgetting internet traffic/routing etc...

But if i use the smart DNS service its ok and my megs stay at 40-50. This is what i have been doing recently and it has been fine a little pixelating for 1-2 mins then it settles and is ok.
