    im after a sata 2.5 hdd between 300 and 500 gb
    does anyone know the cheapest place to get one

      its only 5400 rpm with 8mb of cache 320gb of storage.
      for something faster with more buffer you'll need to fork out more eg: 320gb sata2 7200rpm with 16mb will run you 60 quid Seagate ST9320421AS 320GB 2.5" Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 16MB Cache - OEM - Ebuyer

      for comparable 500gb drives your talking 85 quid for a low end and upwards of 100 for a high end.
